Everglades Park- Take 2

Saturday, October 8, we went back to the Everglades Park, but by bike this time.


We went to Shark Valley, one of the reserves of the Everglades National Park. It is specially designed for the public and there is a bike path that forms a 24 km paved loop.


The path is flat, but there is almost no shade and it is intensely hot at this time of year. Sure, it is less hot than in August but it is far from cool. We went there early in the morning before it became too difficult. Despite everything, the end of the route was a bit laborious with the hot headwind in addition…


Supposedly we were going to cycle among the alligators. Well, they were very discreet. We did not see any.


Apart from a few birds, we did not see much wildlife. We must not be at the right place, it's not a big deal, we did a bit of sport and took some nice pictures...
