Québec

Quebec is perhaps the most beautiful place in the world for hiking. Each season has its own charm. You can hike the same trail several times a year and feel like you're discovering a new landscape each time.

Spring

Even though you have to wait for the snow to melt, nature is so beautiful in the spring.

It's not too hot yet, but the harsh winter cold is over.

The flora and fauna awaken after several months of dormancy. The landscapes are colored with a soft green that is good for the soul.

Summer

Before you go, you need to pack water and insect repellent, because in the summer it can get very hot and the insects are out in full force.

It's the perfect time to enjoy the beautiful long sunny days and explore the thousands of kilometers of hiking trails available throughout the province.

Autumn

Autumn is Isa's favorite season for hiking in Quebec, and for several reasons... First, there are no more insects. Second, it's no longer too hot, and the temperatures are very pleasant. But above all, it's the time to admire the magnificent fall colors.

Winter

It's true, in winter in Quebec, it's cold, even very cold some would say, and there's snow.

But that's no reason to stay indoors. Once you're properly dressed, there's nothing stopping you from going out and admiring the magnificent landscapes that nature has to offer in this season.

Most of the trails are well-maintained enough that you don't need snowshoes. So no excuses! In winter, we play outside!
